Primary Duties

  1. Process control system development, flow and improvement functions
  2. Project management
  3. Tooling & setup sheet management
  4. Work instruction creation and follow-up management
  5. Training
  6. Auditing tasks
  7. Shop Lean project initiatives
  8. ISO 9000/14000 related projects
  9. Cad drawing tasks
  10. Perform other tasks as assigned.Cad drawing tasks

PotentialHazards:

Including, but not limited to: Moving parts; falling items; exposure to oils, coolants, cleaning chemicals; sharps; punctures; electrical; sound

Required Physical Effort:

Lifting; bending; standing; hot/cold environments, occasional physical exertion

Education:

Degree Major Required

Eligibility Criteria:

To be considered for employment at ISM, an applicant must be:

  1. 18 years old
  2. Able to pass a physical examination, including a drug and/or alcohol test, administered by a physician selected and paid for by ISM, prior to the commencement of employment.
  3. A minimum of a High School Diploma or GED Equivalency required
  4. Must have mathematical skills to add, subtract, multiply, and divide & the ability to perform these operations using units of weight, volume or distance.
  5. Must have basic blue print reading skills
  6. Must be able to read/comprehend written & oral instructions in English in addition read/comprehend safety rules, operating and warning instructions, procedure manuals and product label identification
  7. Must be able to communicate verbally in English tactfully and diplomatically one-on-one and in a small group situation
  8. Must have manual dexterity to sufficiently operate a computer & and other basic office equipment, keyboard skills are necessary
