Our in-house testing capabilities are a deciding reason why many of our customers choose ISM. For us it is an indispensable capability that distinguishes our company and ensures the products we produce on behalf of customers meets the highest quality standards. ISM performs Product and Production testing to ensure all products meet or exceed customer specifications.

Product Testing entails three primary areas:

Hydro-testing

Both air and water pressure. Typically performed to test the integrity of welded flanges.

Millipore Testing

Performed in the ISM Clean Room. Typically used to test parts used for Medical Devices and Automotive and Aeronautic Fueling.

Roughness Testing

Production Testing entails testing machine set-up and performance before, during and after the parts are run. This process involves computer tests to determine correct performance factors such as: optimum machine speed for the material used, run-out and dimensions. ISM Quality control procedures require first part, process part and last part testing to ensure consistency. Random production run part tests can be run in our testing lab or on-floor. Results can be provided electronically to our customer for validation and approval.
